Description
This gorgeous 1988 fine porcelain hexagon music box from a very while known corporation (see photo showing bottom for corporation name) plays Jingle Bells. It is part of the Melodies of Christmas series. This music box was product and sold from Jan.1, 1988 to Dec. 31, 1988, only. The artwork is beautifying done with the gold trim around the edge of the lid enhancing the beauty of the music box. The artwork on this music box is from an original painting and is done very well. The picture does not have any scratch on it. It was crafted in Japan by skilled artisans. The music box main spring has not been overwound, operates correctly giving off a clear crisp sound which is easily identifiable. The catch and hinge are in excellent condition with no signs of wear. It is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, necks, fleabites, repairs, or stains. In addition, looks like it has never been used.
