Acco Helicoid Pressure Gauge – Precision Model 2475-0

Description

     This is a used ACCO Helicoid pressure gauge; model 2475-0 that has a pressure rated from 0 to 600 psi. the ACCO Helicoid Gage U.S.A. Company made it gage. The ACCO helicoid gage U.S.A was founded in 1934 as air conditioning Company (ACCO). This vintage ACCO Helicoid gage 2475-0 is equipped with a pointer set in the back for zeroing the pointer needle. This unique piece of history was used at the Bunker Hill smelter in Kellogg, Idaho. The Bunker Hill smelter complex went out of business in 1981 because low sliver prices and other finical problems which the company had for decades prior to closing the doors to the smelter in 1981. It is in a steel case which has some scratches on it and the glass front is good condition. Could not find a date for this gage however, the smelter closed its doors in 1981 and I would not think they would install a new gage on closing day. It is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, necks, fleabites, repairs, or stains. In addition, looks like it has never been used.
