Knockdown F3 Class A Fire Extinguishing Foam

Description

Knockdown® F3 Class A foam concentrate is designed for use in Class A and Class B foam systems and is excellent for Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS). This formulation does not contain reportable components under SARA Title III, Section 313 of 40 CFR-372, or CERCLA.

Class A foam concentrates work by reducing the surface tension of water, allowing the mixture to penetrate surfaces where water might normally run off. This decreases the amount of water required to extinguish the fire and increases the water’s contact time with the fuel surface. More contact time with the fuel surface means more heat absorption.

Application

• Compatibility with Class A/B Systems and CAFS

• USDA approved for use in aircraft, water scoopers, fixed bucket helicopters, and ground engines

• 0.1-1.0 proportioning

• Can be used with fresh, brackish, and seawater

• UL listed as a Wetting Agent at 0.3% for Class A and Class B fires
