1970s Vintage Brown Stoneware Cheese Crock

Description

This is a 1970 dark brown glazed, cheese/butter crock pottery, which is also referred to as stoneware. You would buy it with a cheese product inside. The design of this cheese crock was used by a number of companies throw out the years, like Farmhouse. It had a lid, red rubber gasket, and a wire clamp, which is missing from this crock. Stoneware like this has been made for over a hundred years. This dark brown glazed cheese/butter crock is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, fleabites, or any other flaws. It is missing the lid, rubber gasket, and wire clamp. It has stamped the bottom “U.S.A.” which is very vague to see and does not show-up in the photograph.
