Description
These Chiyoda Hand Painted Red Roses Rim plates date from the early 1940s and feature a scalloped edge with gold trim on the rim. Each plate is hand-painted over a stamped rose pattern repeated three times around the rim. The hallmark includes “Chiyoda,” “Hand Painted,” and “Japan” around the unique “HIN” mark, likely representing community kiln use rather than a single company. These plates are in mint condition with no damage or signs of use.
