Artisan-Carved Floral Wooden Box with Brass Accents

Here is a beautifully hand designed and handmade wooden box with a floral design on four sides and on the top. The top also has a brass inlay with a nice stain finish that enhances the beauty of the wood grain and design. There is a red felt like material on the inside on the bottom and the lid. It is great for hair accessories, jeweler, trinkets, etc., anything that is small and precious to you that you want to keep safe. This attractive design wooden box is handmade by India craftsmen. It is made from the finest rosewood trees that grow in India. The techniques used to create this wooden box with the brass inlay are centuries old and has remain mostly unchanged for decades. Therefore, dating these boxes is hard to do but I have had it packed away for the last 40+ years. I bought it in the late 70s to early 80s. It is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, necks, fleabites, repairs, or stains. In addition, it looks like it has never been used.
