Description
This is a Bourjois Cobalt Blue Talcum powder bottle with Bourjois and 17 emboss on the bottom of the bottle. The talcum powder’s fragrance was known as “Soir de PARIS” in France and in English the name is “Evening in Paris.” The Bourjois manufacture made make-up, fragrance, skincare, and face powder products. The Talcum powder was originally sold in a Cobalt Blue bottle with a Bakelite screw-on lid that was perforated. The Evening in Paris fragrance was first produced in 1928 and was discontinued in the late 1960s. The bottle was made in a three-peace mold machine blown in a dark cobalt blue color. The Evening in Paris fragrance was popular with women in the 1950s. The estimated time that this bottle was made is in the 1940s. It is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, necks, scratches, fleabites, repairs, stains, wears-marks, and no modification. In addition, it looks like it has never been used. The label and Bakelite lids are missing.
